This mutual aid organization provides free self-defense classes, self-defense tools and wellness supplies for Black and Brown trans individuals.
"One in five trans women report feeling threatened or harassed on an almost daily basis, and 45% of trans [people] report feeling threatened or harassed weekly, compared to 19% of cisgender people. The estimated life expectancy of a Black trans woman is only 35 years old. We need to step it up and do more to protect our trans siblings."

The Trevor Project
This organization provides free 24/7 crisis services, gender & sex education, and an online community for LGBTQ+ youth and young adults. They also conduct integral research on LGBTQ+ youth.
"The Trevor Project estimates that more than 1.8 million LGBTQ youth (13-24) seriously consider suicide each year in the U.S. — and at least one attempts suicide every 45 seconds. In particular, Black transgender and nonbinary youth report disproportionate rates of suicide risk — with 59% seriously considering suicide and more than 1 in 4 (26%) attempting suicide in the past year."
